I have a revolving line of credit with Cash 2 U Financial Services of VA. On the day that the loan is due I start getting calls at my place of employment. I have asked several times not to be contacted at my job and have informed them that I am not allowed to receive those types of calls. I received a call today that was answered by one of my employees. The rep asked to speak to my direct manager by name and did not ask to speak to me. There should never be a time that a debt collector ask to speak to a person other than the person on the account. My manager was out of the office so the call was transferred to my voicemail. I called Cash 2 U and advised them again not to call my place of employment and asked why they would ask to speak to my manager and not to me. She informed me that she had not done so. I advised her that all calls made to the company are recorded and that I listened to the recording and she specifically asked for my manager by name. She never mentioned my name until the rep told her that the manager was unavailable and was there someone else that could possibly assist her. She then said I am not going to argue that fact with you. I asked again to never contact my employer because they are putting my job in jeopardy. She stated that she made notations on the account that they will never contact my place of employment again. I was lied to about the terms of the loan, I was lied to today that they did not ask for my manager directly, so I am pretty sure she lied about the do not call the employer notations as well.
