MCM and I agreed to settle a debt by my paying - installments of $130.00 each. I made the first payment on -/-/15. MCM then sent me a statement dated -/-/15 that reported no application of my payment. The balance remained the same. I then had several phone calls with MCM to find out what happened to my $130.00. I was told that there was no record of said payment. I was told that a a manager would call me, but never received such call. I was also connected to a phone system that hung up on me. MCM last contacted me via a statement that was sent to an address at which no one in my family has ever resided. The statement is dated -/-/15 and contains a totally false account balance. However, it did disclose what happened to my $130.00. The -/-/15 balance is precisely $130.00 greater than the -/-/15 statement balance. Incredibly, MCM increased the balance by the payment I made!
