Amex Credit card department,
I have a American Express - - - which has a feature of upto $100.00 Airline Fee Credit for incidental fees ( e.g., baggage fees, flight-change fees etc. ). It has been more than 3 months since I had used the card for the selected airline checked bag fees for $50.00 and I have n't seen the credit yet on my account. I have called more their customer service m - times and have been transferred from - agent to another ( atleast 30 minutes call each time ) but no one is able to help me out yet. Once the agent promised that I will see the credit about 2 months ago, but I have n't seen the credit yet. The airline is disingenuous in promoting this benefit to the cardholders. I am currently in the process of moving to a - and I will be responsible for paying this fees as I have to close my - account. I want to write a formal request for AME- to make this process transparent.
