I have been trying with no success for an explanation or an investigation into a debt on a credit card I have with Elan Financial which I havenever used .This came to my notice when I applied for a mortgagetwo months ago.I requested a statement from Elan which they sent, onthe statement there are - transactions with sidetick ( phone number ) -, I am 100 % sure I never used my credit card for anypurchase since I got it, I have been calling ELAN financial since thentrying to get them to investigate the matter so it is taken off my credit, theyhave not been professional about it, some of the customer service people have been very rude, some do not know what to do and just transfer meto other departments, I can be on the phone for about an hour and betransferred to about - different times to different departments, I speak to someone in fraud, who will then transfer me some where elselike collection, collection will also transfer me back, I get so fraustrated, they dont even update my information when i tell them, it is obvious noneof the customer service people care..I have tried onserveral ocations with no luck.I have even spoken to some supervisorswho will say they are starting a case for me, and that someone from fraudwill get back to me, but I later find out nothinghad been done because when I call the next time, they tell me the same thing.This has been going on for about two monthsd. Yersterday after trying for a long while, I got some one who once againtold me she was opening a case for me, but annoyed me by saying thecase may not be pursued because it is over a year the last transactionwas made.I tell her that is wrong because I never used the card, the transaction on the card was not made by me and I am sure they can find out if they wanted. I now feel like I am being robbed by Elan Finanacial.
