My father was contacted by Portfolio Recovery Associates about a $2300.00 debt to - - from -/-/2013.My father purchased a $650.00 computer -/-/2013 and his bank statements show payments of this amount to - in - 2013. My father considered this debt discharged. He has no idea what the $2300.00 charge is. We contacted - and Portfolio Recovery Associates for account level detail about this debt and they are unable to provide it to me. I sent a letter by email today along with bank statements disputing this debt. Will send by certified mail tomorrow.
