Unsolicited issuance of credit card New York

While at a - - art auction on a cruise ship ( - - - ) the Park West employees placed a number of art works on the stage. The auctioneer then told the audience that as a reward for simply applying for a Park West Collectors credit card the applicant would receive any - of the artworks displayed on stage absolutely free. I filled out the application and told the Park West employee my choice of the free artwork. At that point I was pressured to purchase - artworks by the same - for a total of $810.00. I chose not to purchase these artworks, indicating I only wanted the piece of art that was offered for free. I was then given an appointment to come to the Park West office after the auction, which I did at the appointed time. Upon arrival the representative told me my choice of artwork was out of stock and that I would have to pay $35.00 to have it shipped from another location ( I found the same piece of art listed online for $35.00 with free shipping included ). I told the Park West employee that there is at least - such piece of art available-the one that was displayed on stage. I further told the representative that It is deceptive to display such a piece of art as available at no cost when it is in fact not available. I then told the representative that I wanted to withdraw my application for the credit card and demanded the application I had completed. The representative gave me the application and I left with it, thinking this was the end of the matter. Upon arriving home I discovered an E Mail from - - indicating a new credit account had been opened. I went to the Credit Karma website and discovered that Park West had in fact opened the credit card account against my stated desire .It is a Park West Collectors card through - Bank -
