Checking account Problems caused by my funds being low Texas
On - - I called wells Fargo bank about a ACH transaction that was scheduled to hit my account however I was not able to see it so I wanted to confirm that it was not returned and will be paid, The customer agent confirmed that just like me she could not see anything pending on my account and assured that my deposit had gone through already as of - so I should have enough funds to cover the transaction when submitted. I checked my balance all day and everything was fine and suddenly late afternoon I saw that the transaction was processed first before my deposit and the bank charged me a $35.00 NSF fee. I called them and asked why they would process this transaction first and why was n't it showing as pending before, why the customer agent assured me that no fees will be assessed the agent replied and said that this transaction was actually submitted on the -. I replied that this could not be true because their own customer agent could not locate it in their system, then he told me that we can still process it by noon the next day and charge
account that does not allow for overdraft to begin with so why would they break their own rules and pay this item instead of returning it as they were supposed to. he could not help he transferred me a another department called executive customer care who opened a case ( case number - ) promised to review the recording and see what the agents promised then call me within one business day with a resolution but I never heard from them. I believe this bank continue to pray on certain groups of people. they have unfair business practices especially how they process transactions to benefit themselves and hot customers with unnecessary fees. this is again biased unfair and they can not continue take advantage of consumers and steal their hard earned money which they were already found guilty of doing. I 'm planning on closing this bank account, tell my friends and colleagues but I need to recover the amount they stole from my account prior to doing that.
