I purchased a home in - 2014. The seller had an outstanding loan to Ocwen Loan Servicing which the Seller paid off and Ocwen sent him a notice of payoff stating the debt had been paid in full. However, Ocwen has still not released a lien on my property even though the previous mortgage was paid in full. Having an outstanding lien on a property in which the mortgage has already been paid in full is in direct violation of Ohio - - - Entry of Satisfaction. Ocwen needs to release the lien in accordance with the law.
