BBVA Compass Credit card department,
I applied for the BBVA Compass - - - - - - Card on -/-/2015. I received a message that I would be contacted soon by - of their reps to complete my application. Since I did not hear back from BBVA Compass I called them. Their response was that the website just says that - it needs to be updated I guess ) and that they stopped calling people to verify applications. They pulled my - credit report which clearly states my name and current address, which was identical to what I put on my application. On -/-/2015 I received a letter in the mail saying that my application was denied because they could not verify identifying information. I was never given the opportunity via a phone call, a letter, or any other form of communication with them to try and verify my identity.
