Amex Credit Card Complaint

Late fee

Amex Credit card department,

Late fee Oregon

My salary check is direct deposit on the - of every month. In - I sent my payment in with a post it note asking them not to deposist until - -. Because AME- deposited my check earlier I received a NSF charge of $34.00 from -. I deducted the $34.00 NSF from next months balance and sent them a letter documenting the course of events. From - thu - interest fee charges began to escalate for the $34.00 non payment. In - I sent AME- the balance on my account and the chards of my credit card after the shredder. I did not tell them to close my account ... it was a message letting them know what I felt about their customer service. - - I received a letter saying, " We may increase your APR ''. " Cash rewards has been forfeited due to cancellation. '' After I received the letter I went online to access my account and it had been deactivated. I tried calling and when they asked me for my account number, they had no record of it. I received no statement in -. - I get a statement and AME- wants $2.00 for interest charged. I 'm livid that whoever opened my payment with the not asking for a - - deposit ignored my request. And correspondence from AME- on - -, -, - -, -, another one on the -, and - proves that the payment received department and correspondence department are n't talking to one another. I also sent a detailed letter inside a payment which AME- claims they never received. This is a -... note above that I was told in the - - letter that they will not be issuing my rewards money of which I am entitled. I can see now why - is not dealing with AME- in the future.
