Vehicle loan Problems when you are unable to pay
Security National Automotive Acceptance Company, LLC Consumer Loan department,
Vehicle loan Problems when you are unable to pay South Carolina
I purchased a - Cheverolet Cobalt back -/-/- when I was - in the Air Force in - Georgia -. The car was overpriced and they charged me a very high interest rate. The payments were paid via an allotment directly from my paycheck. I paid the payments faithfully while in active duty. In - I - could no longer make the payments. I contacted Security National - to see if they would defer my payment until I could find employment, but they refused to work with me. The eventually repossed the car and resold it to another buyer. I have not seen or heard anything from them since, but they have added this to my credit report as a charge-off and have an outstanding balance of $8300.00. I feel that this is unfair especially since the car has been resold and I did pay for the car faithfully when in the Air Force and did try to work out an arrangement with them, which they refused. I am asking CFPB to please assist me in getting this removed from my credit report. I would like to purchase another vehicle but this has prevented me from gettng approved for financing over the years. I appreciate any help that your agency can provide. Thanking you in advance.
