Amex Credit Card Complaint

Identity theft / Fraud / Embezzlement

Amex Credit card department,

Identity theft / Fraud / Embezzlement Texas

American Express phone application omitted many key elements of the terms and conditions when applying. 1. They did not inform me of the balance transfer terms and limits while making the application. 2. They could not tell me at what point in the application process that my credit was checked, so I had no way of knowing when to cancel the application. 3. They could not tell me the amount of credit I was issued, however wanted me to transfer balances immediately. 4. They attempted to charge me a - % balance transfer fee when I called in, regardless of the sole purpose of the card is a - % window for transfers within the first 30 days.
