Credit Acceptance Corporation Consumer loan department,
Vehicle loan Taking out the loan or lease Virginia
Company response to previous CFPB complaint, raised additional issue. Although my prior CFPB complaint with the company was responded to swiftly, the comlaint was closed without addressing the issues. The company miscategorized the previous complaint as being focused on whether or not I liked the vehicle and was able to voluntarily enter into the agreement when buying it. This raises additional issues, and as CFPB closed the prior complaint, it appears I must enter a new complaint to address these - issues. Although I very much like the car, now that the Company 's prior response has raised the issue of whether or not I voluntarily entered the sales agreement : Oklahoma law seems to limit who may contract '' in title -, of oklahoma state law codified. As the company has chosen to make this the issue, I am deeply concerned that as a consumer who has made all payments in a timely manner, that I will be unable to keep the product purchased ( a 2013 - ) simply because of having been adjudicated as insane. Since the Americans with - act includes persons regarded as having a - as protected by its provisions, I feel as though the company may be handling my complaint in an unlawful manner. Would a consumer not regarded as being - have their complaints addressed properly instead of having the complaint issue in focus being shifted to their ability to enter into a contract or perform other daily life activities.
