Incorrect information on credit report Information is not mine Michigan
On - -, 2014, I contacted - just to inquire general information on obtaining a mortgage. I made it more than clear, I was just looking for information and not ready to take action. The representative on the phone told me he would run a SOFT inquiry on my credit and that it would not affect my score. He ran my credit ( and my wife 's too ) and later that week, I see it was indeed ran as a HARD inquiry. I called and wrote asking for the audio from the call since I know they are at times recorded. I NEVER gave - any permission for a HARD inquiry and I would not until I was at the stage to actually purchase a home. I feel tricked and manipulated by this company.
