- separate transactions occurred on a - debit card connected to my - - - account. Despite all - transactions being investigated by my bank 's fraud department and their acceptance that these transactions were indeed fraudulent, - still held me liable and sent the amounts to collections creating - negative and completely unjustified negative accounts on my report. Furthermore, despite providing records and all of the information to both - and the debt collector, Northland Group, they have refused to delete the fraudulent transactions/accounts and continue to hole me liable. I was under the impression that Target had accepted those liabilities nearly a year and a half ago when I provided - - - 's documentation/resolution. Because I believed this issue had been resolved, all documents pertaining to the stolen card were shredded. It was not until I was denied credit for having these accounts on my credit report that I became aware that they were negatively impacting me despite not being mine.
