Medical Improper contact or sharing of info Contacted employer after asked not to New Jersey
On multiple occasions, - - identified that he was from Capio Partners and that I needed to pay a medical debt. If I did n't pay the medical debt he was going to notated in my account that I was refusing to pay which would negatively affect me. I requested proof of service rendered and payment was due. To date, I have not received any documentation. - - contacted my employer - additional times ; advising them they are required to pay for it. My employer advised them to stop contacting them. I contacted Capio Partners -/-/- who stated the case was with them but with - - - -. They stated Capio Partners has not tried to contact me. However, they subcontract jobs with - and - -. Capio Partners stated they put a request in the file to stop the employment calling ; however they were not able to guarantee it. Capio Partners put a request in the system to provide a detailed statement to my email. I asked to speak with a compliance/complaints office and they stated no phone number was available. They stated the date of service was -/-/- for $460.00. I then contacted - - - which the debt originated. They stated they were unable to stop the collection agency from contacting me. - stated a bill is due for $460.00 for services rendered -/-/-. The bill must be paid through the collection agency. They also stated the only way to get them to stop calling me is to settle my debt with that company. - - - will be mailing a copy of the bill to the address on file. I asked to speak with a compliance/complaints office but was denied. They stated they would ask their supervisor to contact me. Situations like this make me not want to go to the emergency room or a doctor for fear of the future harassment and threatening posture that is posed by debt collectors.
