Credit reporting company's investigation problem with statement of dispute
TransUnion Credit reporting department,
Credit reporting company's investigation Problem with statement of dispute California
I have disputed 3 times - claim of - in the amount of -. It comes back VERIFIED, NO CHANGE. Yet i have talked to this Collection Agency several times as I have never belonged to a gym in my life. After finally talking to - - from the collection agency, he informed me he has my name and date of birth, however this Gym has been out of business several years. I responded that this was not my debt, and asked if he had a signed contract. I would imagine you would sign something if you are in a contract for owing money as they claim. He said, No they are no longer in business. However i was free to do what i needed to do as far as reporting them for false debt. I have went through great lengths and Transunion has not verified any debt, but yet reports it as such. This is by my knowledge not legal and is dragging my credit down causing great stress and denial of credit, even though my family has a lot of great active revolving credit lines including installment car loans on my record. Someone needs to be held accountable, and this false debt should have been removed 90 days ago. Obviously - - does not feel someone could possibly use another name and date of birth to obtain something, because they sure do n't have my signature or a contract agreeing to any sort of membership.
