Bank of America Credit card department,
On - -, 2015, I was charged - at a - Gas Station located at - - - -, - -, CA -. The following is a brief summary of the incident. While I was pumping gas, the station attendant, -, came outside and told me that there was some kind of mix-up with the payment for my gas. Although I had already swiped my credit card at the pump, - told me that another customer had mistakenly paid for $50.00 at the pump that I was using. He then told me that I needed to pay inside. Believing his story, I went inside the store and approved a charge of $50.00 to my credit card. As I was about to drive away, - came back outside and said there was still some mix-up but he assured me that I would not be charged -. When I later found out that I was charged -, I disputed the charges with my bank ( Bank of America ). However, - - -, a credit card processing service, denied my claim without even contacting the vendor, alleging that I had - cars. That is not true. I later contacted Bank of America and asked to appeal the denial of my claim. I was informed that there is no appeal process and their decision is final.
