Diversified Consultants starting calling on -/-/15 at - and again at - on the same day. These calls were unanswered. Then on -/-/15, they called at -, in which I did speak with a representative, verified my identity and was advised of the debt from the original creditor. The call was disconnected because I was having a difficult time understanding the accent of the representative. They then continued to call me all week. More calls placed on -/-/15 at -, -/-/15 at - and again on -/-/15 at -, in which I did not answer. My wife called them on -/-/15 at - and advised them not to contact me again. It is my understanding that once a debt collector makes contact with you, they can not try to make contact again for 7 days. I also feel that the excessive number of call on my cell phone that I also use for business purposes is excessive and disruptive to my daily work.
