Zions Bancorporation Consumer loan department,
Vehicle loan Problems when you are unable to pay Utah
I made payment arrangements with Zions bank to make payments on a repossessed vehicle. I then found out that Zions bank filed a - to the IRS- Cancellation of debt, making the entire amount of the loan I was currently making payments on taxable as income. I tried multiple times to ask Zions bank to send an amended - to the IRS and they refused and then ignored my request. I stopped making payments to Zions. Why should I make payments on a debt that Zions bank has claimed to the IRS as being forgiven and is now counted as my income. PLUS they refused to amend the -? They have continued to try to collect and still have refused to file an amended - ( cancelation of debt ) and have even garnished my wages. I now owe the IRS for the entire amount of the loan as income and the bank as unpaid debt. I am now forced to file bankruptcy.
