I was contacted by Rash Curtis & Associates about a debt owed to - - -. I informed the person I was speaking to that the debt was paid. The representative of Rash Curtis refused to confact - - to confirm payment even though I provided them with the time and amount of payment. Instead Rash & Curtis threatened me by saying that they will report what they believe to be my lack of payment to credit reporting agencies. I continued to tell Rash & Curtis that the debt was paid when the invoice was received. I spoke to another employee of Rash after realizing that the first employee was not interested in helping me resolve the matter. The second employee of Rash was also rude and disrespectful. While I understand that they are dealing with people who have not paid bills, in this instance the bill was paid. They are terrible in terms of their treatment of people and are not looking to help find ways of resolving issues. They refused to confirm with the originator of the debt that the debt was paid. It was n't until I spoke to a manager that I found someone willing to help resolve the matter. I called the place where the debt originated and they confirmed payment. Weeks later I received notice that Rash was able to confirm payment of the debt.
