Amex Credit card department,
I applied for and received a credit card from american express. I have just received my first bill and no where on it is found my account number with the company. This is the first time I have ever experienced this ; in my opinion it should be illegal. No other credit card company I know of does this. I thought I had misplaced the card as I attempted to setup a bank payment for the bill for which the account number is of course required ; it took me some period of time, but I finally found it. I should not have been put to this trouble ; this is security taken a step too far - I should like to see this stopped before it becomes a fashion among the credit card issuers.
