I purchased a car loan from this Company in - 2015. I advised the car salesman when asked for my employment number that I can not receive personal calls from work. I was advised my work number was needed to verify employment. My employment was verified before I was able to purchase the car. Ever since I purchased the car, they have been harassing my supervisor and Human Resources Department for late payments. My supervisor advised them on recording at work that I was not able to receive personal calls as they were tying up a consumer line. A representative at Consumer Portfolio Services said they would delete the work number and not call anymore. A day later, the calls begin again. I am trying this as a first attempt to stop the calls. I was advised that if this did n't work, they will be reported to the Attorney General 's office as all calls are documented and recorded at my place of employment.
