I went to Walmart as I always do to get my weekly shopping done. I have a Walmart credit card through Synchrony Bank that I use all the time for this. I use this card and pay it off at the end of each month. The cashier informed me that the card does not work and is not good. This was very embarrassing, deplorable and shocking for me. Only then did I know that something was wrong and Synchrony had closed my account. After a lengthy conversation the Synchrony representative told me that a third party Debt Consolidation company had contact them and advised that I was in counseling with them and Synchrony had made an agreement with them to settle my debt. I was shocked! This is not right and Walmart/Synchrony explained they could do nothing more for me, that was also shocking. I have been an exemplary customer. I then explained that they clearly have the wrong person. They finally provided me the Debt company info that was on the other side of the United States called - - in California. - - stated they used their clients credit report to obtain the credit card number that they


error ) and that this has been reported to my credit report as an adverse event. Negatively impacting my credit. SO to date, Walmart/Synchrony bank has been reporting my credit to this other persons credit report and my report, they closed my account on the word of a third party sharing information with that third party without contacting me and will not correct this serious mistake that has impacted me ( the innocent person - negatively! Everyone admits that this was wrong and errors in security have taken place, but no one is willing to fix this or compensate me for this embarrassment. Now I live with this for 7 years? I need some assistance with this horrific error and violation of my credit security.
