Requested Payoff from HSBS -. They refused because of signature. Several attempts later we are still waiting on a payoff. Title Company faxed the request again yesterday with signatures. I faxed a signed request directly to HSBC at - today as a dual request. The mortgage company does n't have either request on hand. While ALL of this is going on, HSBC is charging me MORE and MORE money every day. The law states 7 days for a payoff - it 's been a MONTH. I as the consumer can NOT refinance without HSBC providing a payoff.
