Medical Disclosure verification of debt Not disclosed as an attempt to collect California
I was not made aware of this debt/bill by the medical provider or the collection agency it was assigned to. I discovered this $25.00 debt in collections when I checked my credit report. I have - coverage through my medical insurance companies, as does my wife. My wife was also found to have - outstanding bills that were found on her credit report that had gone to collections as well. The bills were created by the same hospital that charged me the $25.00 bill, which was sent to collections. My wife and I had no idea she had any outstanding bills from this hospital until we checked her credit report at the same time we checked mine. She did not receive any bills or paper work from the hospital or collection companies either. The collection agencies removed all of my wife 's bills from her collection reports, but has refused to work with me on this issue. I have asked the medical provider to work with me on removing this from my credit report, because I never received any notification of this bill, but the hospital billing department has refused to work with me to resolve this issue.
