Synchrony Bank Credit card department,
I used Care Credit credit card to pay a vet hospital when my dog was dying. Needless to say it was a very difficult time for our family. I used Care Credit for many months. My dog passed away on - -, 2015. I have been making payments to Care Credit since then. Suddenly my monthly amount due increased with no explanation. After many hours on phone with vet hosp manager and then Synchrony bank, the bank said it was the vet office 's fault. The vet office said they submitted all paperwork by end of -. Synchrony bank is can not suddenly say, oh by the way, you owe us - more dollars 6 months after dog died? Interestingly, there is a 6, month window of time bank is allowed to post amounts due to the card and -/-/- was 6 months. I have spoken in depth to the vet hospital and they have said Care Credit / Synchrony Bank is difficult to work with and there are problems with them. Care Credit / Synchrony Bank is suspect in their very poor handling of this account. They should not suddenly, 6 months after a death, decided the customer owes more money, it is irresponsible and causing great hardship on our family.
