I recently received a letter from the local courthouse that I am being sued by a company I have never heard of. It states I owe money to - computers from -/-/- which I do n't own and that I was contacted in -/-/- and refused to pay. I immediately - the company and all the links state that this company, Asset Acceptance, is a fraud and to beware of giving them money. Seeing as I have never heard of them and they are now taking to court, my alerts are going up and I do not know what my next step is. I have no money and I am a single mother and now I 'm being sued for around $4000.00 from some company that never contacted me prior to this.
