Citibank sent the cosigner, my mother, a letter demanding full payment of my private Citiassist loan which startled her almost to a state of shock. They claimed after repeated requests I 've failed to make required payment on the loans. Citibank claims the loan charges off after 120 days. I have a past due balance of less than - and paid them a monthly payment less than thirty days prior. When I called and asked why only my cosigner received this letter, the flustered correspondent sent me to an escalation specialist ( # - ) who refused to explain anything and literally only asked when I would like to make a payment for the full due balance and never answered for their dishonest attempt to shake down my mother behind my back.
