Mariner Finance, LLC Consumer loan department,
Installment loan Managing the loan or lease Pennsylvania
I spoke with - - who called on -/-/15 stating that Mariner Finance did not receive a payment and asking if we would like to make a payment over the phone. I then replied no, we had just received the payment booklet earlier this week and the check was mailed out yesterday. - then responded that we were in default and if we did not pay today by phone ( which she later changed to Monday -/-/15 ) we would lose our 0 % 1 year interest rate and be charged the default rate of 24 %. However, our contract signed states that we would be in default if not paid by 15 days after the due date ( being -/-/15 ). I then explained that we were fully aware of our consumer rights and would pursue legal action if needed. - stated That 's perfectly fine with me. ''
