My - year old mother was solicited by a predatory lender, RISE for a personal loan. She agreed to a $1300.00 loan but was told the California law stated the minimum loan amount was $2600.00. Her interest rate is 125 %, how is this legal? She is on a fixed income and RISE has set up an auto pay with her checking account with a monthly payment of $470.00. No income documentation was required from RISE to determine her ability to repay the loan. How is this legal? This is elder abuse! Please shut this company down
