I had an emergency and went to the ER at - - - Hospital I was there for a - hour Paid all the doctors etc that I got bills from.. around - different ones. Only seen - ... Got a bill for over $2600.00 Plus - in doctor bills ..Started paying $50.00 dollars a month and requested a Itemized bill. Did not get - ... waited 2 weeks ..requested another ..did not get - ... waited 2 weeks and called and spoke to the hospital told them I needed a Itemized bill. Was told I could not get - due to a new Computer system and that they would send - out asap. continued to pay $50.00 a month.. Waited - more months and continued to pay the $50.00 dollars. I stopped receiving bills from the - so I called and asked Why..Again the answer was the computer system was new and not to worry about it and that they would contact me when everything was back to normal ... .Then I receive a letter from Meades & Associated saying I was in collections. They demanded full payment ... I told them what happened and I got will send you a Itemized statement ... but you need to pay Immediately - dollars now .. I refused .. and stop Paying ... I tried to reason with them .... again never got an Itemized bill of what I supposedly owed. From my understanding that They can not bill me without an Itemized bill.. Also I was paying monthly and it should have never went to collections in the first place ... Would you pay if you did not know what you were paying for? They broke the FCRA and should have to remove this collection Immediately. They want to send me an Itemized bill now? No it should have not went to collections.. I paid what I could.
