i got a bill from a debt collector co today -/-/2015 saying that they are working for - - the phone co - i call - and asked about this bill and the co trying to collect this bill for them.. - bill was 5 years old ) AND PAYED..i was told by - that they never gave the right to this in thair and the bill was very old and payed..that bill collector is portfolio recovery associates llc of - va using a - - - -..this bill is NOT DUE them or - it was payed it looks to me that this co is just looking to get money not due them, and now it showes up on my credit report too..what can a person do to stop this type of thing ..they are useing my credit report to get money out of pople how they dod this on bills not due ...
