TransUnion Credit reporting department,
Credit reporting company's investigation Investigation took too long New York
I mailed Transunion a certified letter asking them to provide me with details of several negative trade lines that were listed on my credit report. They responded after - days informing me that they verified details of the negative account I listed. I believe Transunion did not do a sufficient investigation. - of the account - - - is a payday lender. If Transunion had done a proper investigation they would have discovered that this was a payday lender, and that payday loans are illegal in New York. I would like Transunion remove the accounts I requested information on. Following my initial dispute I sent - additional letters to Transunion asking them provide me with the method of verification. I also spoke with a customer service representative in regards to the - - - account. I spoke with a supervisor and asked them to provide me with details of who they spoke with to verify the details of the account. I asked them what documents did they review. The outcome of that call was the supervisor offered to add an additional dispute in regards to the wrong type of account being listed. - - - listed it as an installment loan. The supervisor mention this additional dispute would take another - days. I can provide additional documentation in regards to this if necessary.
