Wells Fargo Credit card department,
I took out a credit card through Wells Fargo to purchase furniture at - -. I was lead to believe that the payment schedule set up in the store would satisfy the payoff requirements to take advantage of the no interest loan over 12/18 months. This was not correct and when the balance was due I could n't afford the balloon payment and was charged back interest at a rate of 28 %. If I had known that the payment schedule set up for this loan was insufficient, I would have purchased less. In fact, I tried to purchase less and the - - employee said he restructured the loan so that i would only be paying - a month. He assured me that this payment schedule would satisfy the no interest loan requirements. This has put me in a very difficult situation and I feel that I was seriously mislead by the individual at - -. I have contacted both - - and Wells Fargo and they have told me they are unwilling to help.
