I applied for - separate credit cards with Sterling Financial ( Bank ). Kay, Jared and - Jewelers. Each time I was approved for $1500.00. When they start reporting to my credit report, they only report as $500.00 each. When I log into each separate website, for each store, it says my credit limit is $1500.00 for each store. No where in the agreement online, or the application/approval process did it say they split the limits. I called customer service - and was told basically that 's just the way it is ''. This is shady business. Making customers think they are getting separate accounts when it really is only - limit. On top of this, my credit report was pulled at least - of the - times I applied, causing my credit score to drop each time and also creating additional inquiries on my report. This is unfair and misleading to customers. If they only want to give me - limit, then at the very least, they should only be pulling my credit - time. AND, they should be putting this in a statement on the application and credit agreement. This is not the case. I want the $4500.00 total for the - cards as I was made to think I was getting.
