- - - Account by CCSThis is wife 's debt that I have been handlingCCS agreed to remove a collection account from the credit bureaus if I paid in full. I paid in full and it is being reported as a paid collection as of -/-/15 which is not what was agreed to. I was called by - - from CCS at - -/-/15. He instructed me to call the - Law firm as they had the file and to make payment arrangements with them and then CCS would delete. I called - - at - - -/-/15 to discuss payment and was told that they would notify CCS of the payment but did not control what was reported to credit bureaus. I called CCS back at - at - -/-/15 ( 11 minute call - to make sure that the agreement was to delete the trade line at the 3 credit bureaus, not just report them as a paid collection. I spoke to the first gentleman who answered the phone ( I do not have his name ) and he finally transferred me to - who assured me that this would be deleted. I called the original creditor -
a phone call form - - at - on -/-/15 in regards to an email explaining the incorrect reporting. He told me that after his supervisor listened to the recording on -/-/15 at - that no mention of deleting the trade line after payment in full was discussed. I told him to listen to the 2nd call that we had that day at - that I made before paying to make sure of the tradeline deletion. He had his supervisor listen and came back on the line and said it would be deleted and that there was some mistake. Filed BBB complaint -. They responded - that they submitted for deletion on - but we have no control over CRA timetable for updating. I rejected their response and requested confirmation numbers for the deletion request.. They responded - saying they will resubmit but we have no control over CRA timetable. No confirmation numbers given like I asked. As of - it has not been deleted as agreed.
