Credit reporting company's investigation Investigation took too long Texas
This complaint regards a dispute that I filed with Transunion regarding medical bills from - - - Hospital. The dispute was filed - -,2015 and an additional dispute was filed on - -, 2015 against the -. I received a letter from Transunion dated - -, 2015 ( see attached ) that stated additional time was needed. Both of these disputes were independent of the other and should not have complicated matters with Transunion. It has been in excess of - days since my initial dispute regarding the medical bills and I still have received no correspondence from Transunion regarding either matter. I contacted CFPB again on - -, 2015 and received correspondence stating that Transunion had sent a response stating that a copy of my credit report would be sent within - days. Todays ' date is - -, 2015 and it certainly has been in excess of - days since my dispute was filed and I would request that this information be deleted from my credit report. My initial dispute stated that at the time of the hospital visit I was fully insured and the bills should have been completely covered by my insurer at the agreed upon cost between the insurer and the hospital. Again neither of the disputes had anything to do with the other and should not have complicated either dispute so the additional days requested was not needed.
