We retail and service outdoor power equipment. We sell - - from a company in -, T-. ( - - - ), - - -, -, T- -, ph # -. Since the fall of 2013 they have been surcharging us the fee the American Express card charges and calling it a convenience fee for purchasing merchandise from them. Specifically Redmax product shown clearly on the billing invoice. In Texas it is illegal to charge this and we have tried numerous times to ask them to stop doing this. They said they could charge and this and went a step further. We wanted to purchase this product from another distributor that does not charge this fee. They were threatened they would sue because of territory maps. We have contacted American Express and they are disputing this. Also spoke with the State Attorney of Texas consumer complaint division, and we were also told to file a complaint with your office.
