Citibank sent me a letter, dated - -, 2015, stating that they were unable to add the IRS as a payee in my checking account due to customer service reasons ''. In their letter, Citibank stated that this policy was stated in their Bill Payment Users Agreement. I sent a letter to Citibank requesting them to point out in the Citibank Bill Payment Users Agreement where this policy was stated. I NEVER RECEIVED A RESPONSE.
