I wrote a check ( # - ) for $330.00 to Ask - -, -, on - -, 2015 from my checking account with - - -, which is based in Massachusetts. There was a delay in cashing the check and it was returned due to insufficient funds on - -, 2015. On - -, 2015, the check was redeposited and a returned check fee of $50.00 was debited from my checking account. This was done by a collection agency associated with Citizens Bank. In addition to this fee, my bank charged me a return check fee of $15.00 and Citizens Bank charged Ask - - $20.00 as a returned check fee. That is a total of $85.00 I paid for - check returned due to insufficient funds. The check cleared when it was redeposited by the collection agency on -/-/2015 and the person I wrote the check to did not receive the funds into his bank account at Citizens Bank for more that - days. He tried speaking with customer service at Citizens Bank yesterday, -/-/2015 and received no satisfaction. He reported that he was closing that bank account due to his frustrations.
