Amex Credit card department,
Closing/Cancelling account Pennsylvania
I returned a call from American Express. I was told that I called an told them to cancel my request for an Everyday American Express Card and they have sent me out a letter that they considered my request a fraudulent credit request. I do n't care about the card, what does concern me why did they say this. Why would I purposely put a spot on my credit with making a Fraudulent phone call. The credit card is not important here, but the fact I have been accused of a Fraudulent phone call I did not make. I 've been away from home since Friday ( - ). returned Sunday ( - ) and have not had any verbal contact with American express in over - years and have not made personal or any type of phone call in over - week I basically do not use or make calls,. and when I did I only spoke to a phone service. I am hurt that what they say and what I have done do not match and that I am accused of something I did not do. Here lies my concern.
