I was contacted by - - of the Law offices of Patenaude and Felix ( - - - -, - -, - -, - - ) ( - ) on or about -/-/-. Originally, they were asked to validate a debt in -/-/-. They were unable to do so. In fact, I never heard from them after that. In - they filed in - -, - and had my wages garnished. I was never served papers at my current and legal home of residence. My wages were garnished for 60 days. The only way I found out about this was through the - notifying me of the garnishment. In -, I received another letter from the - of intent to garnish my wages again. I contacted - - of Patenaude and Felix and came to an agreement for payment. We came to an agreement and I was sent a copy of that. I promptly made a payment of more than 66 % of the agreed upon amount. They also sent a copy of the Release of Writ of Garnishment ( dated -/-/- ) with an attorney 's ( - - ) signature from the state of -. - - claims that they sent the release the very same day to the -. As of -/-/-, My Leave and Earnings statement confirms that my pay has once again been garnished. This time, in the amount of $380.00 plus an additional $50.00 fee to the - for processing. I immediately called the - and spoke to - - ( - ). - - confirms that his office has never received any notice from the debt collection attorney 's office and that they have made no attempts to contact him or his office by phone. This debt collection office is illegally collecting an unverified debt ; they did not contact me in the beginning of the court proceeding to allow me to challenge this ; after a legally binding agreement was made between both parties, they acted against their word and broke our agreement.
