The dental office gave me a quote before doing work for my son 's teeth - he was - yrs. old. The quote was $160.00 my out of pocket expense which I still have the quote. But then I got billed for $760.00. The work done is only filling for - teeth. The explanation was insurance only cover - filling not the - they used. i dont ask what - they used, i just assume they used what is allowed. i sent a payment of $200.00 but they refused to take and further advise me to deal with the collection agency. They sent me to collection when the bill was only - days overdue of which I was trying to depute. This is a fraud. I got misled. I sent the dentist a nice letter and also requested if i can discuss in person. Both I was not granted. I did ask for a discount, I was told by his billing that they can not even give me a $10.00 discount.
