I have a Paypal issued Mastercard. I use this card for a couple of transactions a month. In the month of - 2015 I received a $96.00 refund resulting in a net positive balance i.e. Paypal owed me money. In light of this, there was no payment due by - - 2015. I even checked to make sure there were no transactions. However, in the -/-/- statement the company charged me a $ - late fee and interest charges of $1.00 ( total charges of $26.00 ). This was shocking and when I called Paypal the service rep kept repeating that I was getting confused. She refused to explain why I was required to pay the fees and have the charges reversed in the next month ( -/-/- ) statement. This is the second time that Paypal has resorted to this unethical practice.
