I have a negative acct on my credit report from AFNI a debt collection agency. The original creditor is - - -. I have disputed the date with - 3-4 times now. I have called AFNI concerning the date and was told they do n't have records of anything more than my personal information and the amount of the debt. I have been told the time of the debt on the credit file is - yrs from the date of last payment. I have a past due bill from - - - dated -/-/- but AFNI has challenged each time listing it as -/-/- which is when I believe they purchased the debt. I have been dealing with this for about 6 mths now.
