False statements or representation Attempted to collect wrong amount Michigan

I received a writ of garnishment from my employer. It states I owe $16000.00. I have received nothing from ASSET ACCEPTANCE , LLC about any of this. I have changed my address many times over the passed - years and to the best of my knowledge was never made aware of any of this debt. I pulled up the registry of actions on this at the - - - district court and I see I 've been taken to court and did n't show. I knew nothing about this, It claims I was served by certified mail. I would like to see the verification on this and the entire account. I also would like an Itemization of the charges accrued, the original agreement and any and all times this debt was sold or bought. If this information can be provided and proof that I do in fact owe this, then I would be interested in settling this debt. However until that happens I will be taking all actions to protect myself.
