Credit line increase/decrease North Carolina
On - I called Sears Card to pay off and close the account. I approved an electronic payment thru my bank. On - my lender drew a credit report which listed me as past due - days. on -, I called Sears Cards and was told that the payment of - failed due to incorrect a/c #. at that point I authorized a new payment for the then balance. I asked that they contact the credit reporting services and advise them of the error, I was told that this would take 7-10 days. On - I received - letters from Sears stating that the account had been brought to a - balance, but the Credit reporting services had not been advised. I 'm trying to secure a substantial loan, for a new home, my credit score has been dropped by - points. I need the corrected, and I need it Quickly. I 'm paying rent until my house is started. I would appreciate your help in this matter. thank you..
