Disclosure verification of debt Not given enough info to verify debt Texas
On - - I sent a debt validation to Midland Credit Management in regards to their entry on my credit report. They received this letter on - -. In my letter I stated that I was not aware of any debt owed to them and to please remove their entry from my credit report. On - - they sent me a letter stating that they understand I 'm disputing the accuracy of their records but after reviewing the account they were unable to determine the nature of my dispute. In my letter to them I said I was n't aware of anything owed to them. That 's the nature of the dispute. On their letter to me at the top it has creditor name as Target and balance of -. This is the same name and amount that is on my credit report. They did n't provide me with anything new about how and why I owe the amount. This is a blanket letter they send out to anyone that tries to get the debt Midland says is owed validated. They 've also continued trying to collect on the debt by sending a letter with payment options on -/-/2015 as well as updating my credit report with the information.
