I applied and was approved for credit ( - ) at Ashley Furniture in -/-/-. I cancelled the account due to non-delivery in -/-/-. Then this month ( -/-/- ) received a letter saying that someone had tried to run my credit at Ashley Furniture on - - from Synchrony Bank. I was nowhere near there that day ( at work at a conference in - WA all day ). The only way this was done was someone walked in saying they were me and no one asked them for an ID or was working in cahoots with that person to steal or - of the employees there ran my credit on their own. I called and spoke to -, a so-called manager and she was absolutely no help. she acted as if it were nothing, asking me if I called the bank. I have an email from another stating that she closed my account in -. I was denied a home equity loan because of this and plan on going to the fullest extent of the law with this. I curse the day I ever stepped into that hellhole! They are the worst!!
